Nexus is a product of 53Alpha ("we", "us"). We provide websites and the marketing and operations platform behind them. This policy covers this website and the enquiries you make through it. [Registered company details to follow.]

Two kinds of information. First, what you choose to give us: your name, email address, website URL and anything you write in a form, for example when you request an audit, contact us or subscribe to the newsletter. Second, anonymous usage data: pages viewed, referring site, browser type, and country, collected without cookies and without identifying you.

To respond to your enquiry, deliver the audit you asked for, send the newsletter you subscribed to, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. If you become a customer, your details move into our customer records. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

This site sets no cookies and loads no third-party trackers. Analytics are first-party, run by Nexus itself: visits are counted without device identifiers, fingerprinting or stored personal data. That is why there is no consent banner.

Where UK data protection law applies, we rely on: your consent (newsletter), steps taken at your request before a contract (audits and enquiries), and legitimate interests (running and improving the service). You can withdraw consent at any time.

We share data only with the service providers that run our infrastructure (hosting, email delivery), under contracts that limit what they may do with it, and where the law requires it. No data is shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Enquiry details are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymous analytics contain nothing to delete.

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Email us and we will act on it promptly.
